Chronic inflammatory-related diseases are related to more than 50 percent of fatalities around the planet. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences reports that a lengthy list of disease processes develop secondary to chronic inflammation. Diseases associated with inflammatory processes include:

Exercise Reduces Inflammation
Following a study performed through the National Toxicology Program learned that physical activity plays a positive role in reducing inflammation. Muscles release inflammation-inhibiting proteins during physical activity. An article published in the March 2017 issue of “Brain, Behavior and Immunity” explained that 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercise proves fruitful in reducing inflammation. Physicians from the University of California San Diego advise that many types of moderately stressful exercise are also effective for reducing chronic inflammation.
Physical Activity to Consider
Aerobic Dance-A November 2019 study published in “Mediators of Inflammation” determined that individuals participating in some type of dance program experienced lower levels of inflammation compared to individuals who did not dance. Hip-hop, line dancing, square dancing, Zumba or other forms of dance are known to promote healing.
Cycling-The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended riding a bike at a leisurely pace on flat ground. Individuals might also use an indoor stationary bike. The exercise provides a moderately intensive cardiovascular and respiratory system workout, which is ideal for reducing inflammation.
Virtual Reality Sports-Many game consoles offer games that enable users to play simulated golf, tennis, baseball and other sports in the comfort of their home. Motion sensor technology monitors physical movement to interact with an activity that occurs on the screen. Play the games individually and keep track of progress. Or, play with family and friends.
Brisk walking, gardening, playing doubles tennis, playing volleyball and swimming are some of the many other options to consider.
Duration of Moderate Exercise
In order to reap optimal benefits, individuals should strive to get 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise daily for up to five times each week. The half-hour increments may be divided into three 10 minute periods of activity spaced throughout the day if needed.
